One Bold Decision Can Completely Change Your Life!

Veronika Semko is a young Ukrainian woman building her professional path in the United States. She works with local businesses as a content creator while also developing her career in the travel industry. Her introduction to the travel business gave her an entirely new perspective on the world of travel — not only as a way to relax and explore, but also as an opportunity to work online, learn, and discover new destinations. Today, Veronika is developing her business in the travel industry with InteleTravel and building a business opportunity through PlanNet Marketing. In an interview with GOSSIP, she decided to share more about this opportunity, which, in her opinion, is still not widely known.

What surprised you the most when you first discovered the travel business from the inside?

When I first learned about this industry, what surprised me most was how many different opportunities it combines. You can help people plan and book their trips, gradually build your own client base, learn about the travel industry, and do a significant part of the work online. For me, it all started quite naturally — with a trip. My current business partner, Vita Kolodnitska, booked a trip for me and my family. Afterward, Vita told me that there was an entire industry behind organizing travel and that there was an opportunity to become part of it myself. She introduced me to InteleTravel and PlanNet Marketing and suggested that I try this direction. I am still learning, attending training sessions, meeting new people, and gaining practical experience. And the more I learn about this industry, the more often I find myself thinking, “Why didn’t I know about this opportunity sooner?”

How does this business actually work? What is the difference between InteleTravel and PlanNet Marketing?

They are two connected but different areas. InteleTravel is a travel company through which an independent travel advisor can work with bookings for hotels, resorts, cruises, tours, vacation packages, and other types of travel. Advisors have access to professional tools, travel partners, and training, and can earn commissions on completed bookings. PlanNet Marketing is the business side. Through it, people can introduce others to the opportunity to become independent travel advisors and, if they choose, build their own team. What I like is that people can decide what suits them best: they can focus on travel and clients or additionally develop a team.

You often mention education and training. How important is it in this industry?

For me, this is one of the most interesting parts of the business right now. The travel industry is much larger than it may seem from the outside. There are cruise companies, hundreds of hotel brands and resorts, countless destinations, and different tour operators. So there is always something new to learn. We have online training, webinars, presentations, meetings, and opportunities to connect with travel partners. There are also FAM trips — professional familiarization trips for people working in the travel industry. I have already had the opportunity to take part in a FAM trip to Universal Orlando Resort. For me, it was a completely different kind of travel experience: you are not simply there to relax, but to look at hotels, resorts, and the overall product through the eyes of someone who will later work with clients. I want to continue gaining as much of this knowledge and practical experience as possible.

And what role does the team play in all of this?

A huge one. I think the team is one of the reasons I became so interested in this industry. When you start something new, it is natural to have a lot of questions. It is much easier to move forward when you have people around you who have already been through the same process. We organize training, meet, travel, share our experiences, and support one another. You are not left alone trying to navigate such a huge industry. And now I also want to introduce other people to this opportunity, especially those who love traveling, want to have an online business direction, or are simply looking for something new in their lives.

What would you like someone to think after reading this interview?

Probably: “Why have I never heard about this before?” Not because I want to say that this business is suitable for absolutely everyone. But I do believe that people should know about opportunities like this. Not long ago, I looked at travel simply as a tourist.

Now I am gradually exploring the industry from a professional perspective, working online, meeting new people, attending training sessions, and taking part in professional trips. I am still at the beginning of this journey, but that is exactly why I find it especially important to show it as it really is — from the first training sessions and bookings to professional development and building a team. Perhaps someone will read this interview and simply become curious enough to learn more. And sometimes, that small spark of curiosity is exactly where an entirely new direction in life begins.
